Berean Bible Search · Effective 12 October 2026

Berean Bible Search is a Bible reading, search and study app. It is built so that your personal information stays on your own device. This policy explains what the app stores, what it sends over the internet, and why.

Summary

Information that stays on your device

The following is stored only on your phone or tablet and is never uploaded to our server:

You can clear your history at any time in Settings. Deleting the app removes all of this data from your device.

Information sent over the internet

Online features go through our server at bereanbiblesearch.com. These requests contain only what is needed to answer them — for example the Bible passage, word or search you asked for — and never your personal details:

Our server does not store these requests in a database. Like any web server, our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and troubleshooting.

Third-party services

Device permissions

You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.

Sharing

When you share a verse, note or image, it is handled by your device's own share sheet and goes only where you choose to send it.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Data security and deletion

Because your personal data is kept on your device, it is protected by your device's own security. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete; removing the app or clearing its data removes everything it stored.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
